It is a surgery for correction of protruding ears. It can be done on children since the age of 7, and the indication should be talked over with family and patient, which many times is a child. The satisfaction level is extremely high and the surgery is very pleasing.
Local anesthesia with sedation, discharge by the end of the day and surgical curative during 4 days is part of our routine. A head band is recommended in the beginning, 24hs a day, after 2 weeks, we recommend the use only at bed time and within a month we remove it completely.
